360 Communities’ 40-Hour Advocacy Training allows attendees to gain a greater understanding of domestic and sexual violence while equipping them with the foundational knowledge and skills to be an advocate through interactive activities, discussions, and a variety of content.

Topics:

Some examples of topics covered include Advocacy in Underserved Populations, Victims’ Rights, Trauma-Informed Care, Self-Care, and more.

Format:

There will be a combination of in-person meetings, live virtual sessions, and self-paced, online work.

This training meets the mandated 40-hour training requirement for direct service advocates in Minnesota and is required for all volunteers in the Violence Prevention and Intervention program at 360 Communities. If you have any questions, please reach out to Molly C. at mollyc@360communities.org.

Upcoming Sessions

Our next 40-hour Advocacy Training will take place in June of 2024. We will share additional information, including dates and locations and a registration link, on this page in the coming months. Thank you!
