Housing Intervention and Support Services

Have you been served an eviction notice?

We support tenants notified by Dakota County courts of an upcoming eviction hearing.

Please call our main line at (952) 985-5300 and ask for Housing Intervention and Support Services.

You will also have the option to meet with our staff during your housing court hearing. Before or during your hearing, we can:

  • Help with screening for referrals to rent assistance programs
  • Explain what happens during eviction hearings
  • Offer general housing information and resources
About court hearings

Housing court hearings are held on Zoom. If you do not have reliable internet access, you can:

• Call into the hearing, instructions are provided on the court summons

• Go to the Dakota County courthouses to use available computer stations

• Use a legal kiosk at one of two 360 Communities resource centers in Burnsville or Rosemount

• If you would like to use the Legal Kiosk, please call our main line at least one day in advance for a reservation.

Legal aid attorneys will also be available during housing court to offer legal advice about your case if you are income-eligible.
