Support for Individuals and Families
Violence affects every member of a family in different ways. Adults, children, and caregivers may experience fear, uncertainty, trauma, and disruption to their daily lives, whether they directly experience violence, witness it, or live with its ongoing effects. Supporting healing means recognizing the unique experiences, strengths, and needs of each individual while strengthening family relationships whenever it is safe and appropriate.
At Lewis House, we provide individualized, survivor-informed support for people of all ages. We work alongside caregivers, children, youth, and adults to promote safety, healing, and resilience.
Services include:
-
- emotional support
- violence awareness and prevention education
- parenting support
- children’s and family activities
- support groups
- connections to educational and community resources
- guidance in navigating challenges that arise during and after experiencing violence
Our goal is to empower individuals and families with the tools, resources, and support they need to move toward safety, stability, and hope.
