Community Education
Violence prevention starts with us: in our homes,
in our schools, and in our communities
Empowering children and adults
360 Communities offers various presentations designed to educate on the dynamics of relationship abuse, power and control, consent, sexual assault and harassment, trafficking, and general overall safety in relationships. Our primary goals are to equip people to recognize abusive patterns earlier and gain access to available resources to help.
We present to various audiences, including school-aged students from upper elementary to high school, colleges, businesses, faith communities, community organizations, and social service providers. We also provide internal training for our staff.
Teaching school-aged youth about healthy relationships and the importance of personal safety, both in-person and online, helps them develop skills that stop violence before it starts.
We support victims
During our presentations, we often hear from participants who have experienced or are experiencing abuse. When this happens, we connect people to our advocacy services and offer safety planning, emotional support, community resources, and more.
