Everyone deserves to live free from violence.
360 Communities will transform service delivery for victims of domestic and sexual violence. Our holistic programming, trauma-informed practices, and shelter will create pathways to long-term safety and stability.
Help us build a NEW Lewis House Shelter
$14.1 million is needed to design, construct, furnish, and equip a new domestic and sexual violence shelter. The need is critical. This trauma-informed domestic and sexual violence shelter will:

Improve public health
- Moving from communal to independent living reduces the risk of disease transmission.
- More dignified services improve mental health and support people’s individual needs.
Deliver more comprehensive service
- Trauma and healing-informed design principles create a healthier and more,
supportive environment. - Comprehensive resources available to residents and community members from one location
Improve inclusivity & accessibility
- Support all physical abilities
- Gender-inclusive
- Strengthen cultural needs and practices
Regain vital bed capacity
- The closure of Hastings Lewis House reduces shelter capacity across the state by 21 beds, with 200 fewer people sheltered by 360 Communities.
- This project will increase the Lewis House capacity to 50 beds.
