Housing Support Workers can meet with tenants notified by Dakota County courts of an upcoming eviction hearing. Please call our main line and ask to connect to Housing Intervention and Support Services. (952) 985-5300. You will also have the option to meet with housing support workers during your housing court hearing. Before or during your hearing, we can:
- Help with screening for referrals to rent assistance programs
- Explain what happens during eviction hearings
- Offer general housing information and resources
Court hearing access
Housing court hearings are held on Zoom. If you do not have reliable internet access, you can:
- Call into the hearing, instructions are provided on the court summons,
- Go to the Dakota County courthouses to use available computer stations, or
- Use a legal kiosk at one of two 360 Communities resource centers in Burnsville or Rosemount.
