Rosemount Resource Center Expansion2021-06-04T13:07:06-05:00

A Healthier, Happier Rosemount

The 360 Communities Rosemount Resource Center is a neighborhood gathering place where families access healthy food, financial assistance, and a comprehensive network of both internal and external resources. People experience 360 Communities’ holistic approach and are treated with dignity, receiving help in the moment and hope for the future.

The Rosemount Resource Center and Food Shelf has undergone an expansion project that tripled its size to increase capacity and provide the space necessary to deliver effective services. The expansion project is a direct result of client feedback, community needs, and a strong partnership between 360 Communities and the City of Rosemount.  The new resource center allows 360 Communities to deliver more healthy food, provide more programming, and increase long-term stability work.

Project Benefits

The food shelf space will expand and give greater access to healthy and fresh vegetables, fruits, proteins, and more. All 360 Communities choice model food shelves provide a dignified and respectful experience where clients choose their own foods. The food shelves are laid out to make the healthy food choices the easiest.

360 Communities will expand programming based on the greatest needs of the people we serve. The current space is small and limits the services we are able to offer. The expanded space will provide the opportunity to identify needs of clients and build programming around these needs. The new space will have classroom areas, private offices, and more.  With this increased space, we will be able to boost the support we provide to youth, families, and adults seeking services. A few examples of programming that may be introduced are: homework help, budget planning, a space to meet with a county worker, and more.

An issue facing many community members is the increased cost of living and lack of affordable housing. Youth, families, and adults face difficult decisions and challenges related to meeting their basic needs, while maintaining their housing. The Rosemount Family Resource Center and Food Shelf expansion project will increase our ability to serve low-income community members with resources that will deliver safety and stability, as well as prevent homelessness. Our holistic approach works to connect people with a network of support that will provide access to services to keep them in their homes and communities.
