The Burnsville Family Resource Center recently joined the Rosemount Family Resource Center to offer free fresh produce distributions once a week, made possible by a partnership with Second Harvest Heartland. In Burnsville, the free outdoor market is open on Mondays between 2 pm and 4 pm, through September. In Rosemount, it takes place on Thursdays, starting at 10 am and finishing when the food is gone. 

The pandemic forced all of our food shelves to change over to pre-pack models for safety reasons. These healthy food distributions provide some choice for people during a difficult time where choice feels like a rarity. A special thanks to all of the volunteers and staff that help make these days a reality!
