Every year, 360 Communities recognizes community partners who go above and beyond the call of duty to support our mission of preventing violence, ensuring school success and promoting long-term self-sufficiency.
Earlier this year, we honored Burnsville business owner Jimmy Vosika for his support of our Armful of Love holiday gift program. In 2014, when we put the call out to the community to locate a new donated space for the program, we received a tremendous response from the community, including Vosika. He offered to house the program at his ShopJimmy.com warehouse on Highway 13 in Burnsville, free
of charge.
In 2015, he once again donated space for the program. Armful of Love connects gift sponsors with more than 1,000 families each year to bring holiday joy. For the past two years, Vosika’s generosity has helped make the program a reality. Vosika and his staff have also volunteered at the Burnsville Food Shelf warehouse, and are currently supporting 360 Communities during Minnesota FoodShare’s March
Campaign. MN Home Outlet, Vosika’s other business is running a food drive during March and ShopJimmy.com employees are participating in 360 Communities’ Pie in the Face Challenge.
